Fundraising Events

There's No Place Like Home Fundraiser Saturday September 28, 2019 10:00 am to 8:00pm

The Friends of the Roslyn Library would like to thank everyone who helped make our Fall Fundraiser such a successful event! We raised $10,000! Your support helps with the Friends goal of finding a temporary home for the Library while final renovations take place on the Library / Old City Hall building.

We also want to thank the local vendors and community members who generously donated food and gift items to our event, with a very special thank you to our hosts, Heritage Distilling Company!

Friends of the Roslyn Library's Annual Summer Book July 6-7, 2019

The sale takes place in the parking area between the Old City Hall & Library Building and the Roslyn Fire Hall from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. We look forward to seeing you there!

The biggest and best book sale of the year! Thousands of items at great prices starting at 25 cents. All kinds of books -- cookbooks, gardening books, western history books, antique books, children's books, business books and loads of bestselling novels, just to name a few. Plus movies, audiobooks, music CD's and movie posters from the Roslyn Theatre. Donations of gently used books are accepted at the Roslyn Library all year long.

All proceeds benefit the Roslyn Library, helping the library to buy the latest book releases and provide assistance for all the great kid's programs.

There is also a Winter Booksale the second Saturday in December. It is a great place to buy items for all the book lovers on your holiday gift shopping list!

Seussapalooza

Every Spring the Friends of the Roslyn Library host the Seussapalooza Fundraising Event, based on a different Dr. Seuss book each year. It has typically be held at the Putnam Center in Cle Elum, where 150 attendees are served up food and entertainment. Activities include a silent auction and children's activities. This is an event for the whole family.

We would like to give a big thanks to all who attended, donated to, and worked on Seussapalooza this year. Your attendance and donations netted the Library over $15,000. We are very appreciative of the wonderful and generous community we serve.

Proceeds from Seussapalooza are the Roslyn Library's main source of revenue for purchasing new books, movies, music and periodicals.
