What is Happening?

Saturday July 2nd at the Runje Park!

We are looking for volunteers! If you would be interested in helping with this event, please email at librarian@ci.roslyn.wa.us with your name, a good phone number and anything that you would like to help with. (Examples: Food, tickets, entertainment, cleanup, set up, tear down, etc).

We are having a Design Our Next Library Card contest! If you are interested in participating, please submit your amazing artwork, following these guidelines:

1. Artwork must be no smaller than a 5x7 and no larger than an 11x17. (I support creativity, so please come up with ideas on your own). It must be your own original work. All media is accepted (i.e. colored pencils, pens, charcoal, paint, etc).

2. Photography also is great, but needs to be submitted in digital format in the highest definition you are able to. It can be submitted to our email at librarian@ci.roslyn.wa with the subject line "Library Card Contest."

3. Participants can be any age, but we would like you to be a resident of Kittitas County or have close family ties to this area.

4. We will have forms to fill out upon submission to acknowledge that you are allowing us to potentially use your artwork for our next library card(s), but you will get your original artwork back unless you specifically donate it to our library (in which case, we will proudly hang on our walls).

5. The Deadline is November 31st, 2022. Winners will be chosen in December. Everyone who participates will receive a prize.

We are under construction right now and cannot allow patrons INSIDE the library. However, you can come into City Hall and request materials (the librarian has moved into City Hall and can check materials out to you).

We can also still get do curbside for you as we have done in the past. But ask that you email us at librarian@ci.roslyn.wa.us, call us at the City of Roslyn (509)649-3105 to request items or stop by the City Hall building. (The library line is not available right now).

We will be starting a new session of Story Time in the Park later this Spring!

City Hall's doors are open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or otherwise posted. The Librarian is usually here until 5:00 or 6:00 p.m., so if you need to come in after that time, please let the librarian know via email or a phone call to 649-3105. Just let me know you would like to reserve them or stop by to see if one is available.

Call 509-649-3105 for more information or to reserve your pass/to see if one is available. Passes are checked out for a week at a time.

Caught us on a Day we are Closed? Feel free to call with any questions or to reserve curbside materials in the meantime at (509) 649-3420 or email at librarian@ci.roslyn.wa.us .  The Librarian has limited hours in the library but will try to return your call the same day.
Don't know what you want, but you're in the mood for a good read? That's great! Let your librarian know what you are in the mood for and we will choose some books for you. Or check out the catalog on this website and let us know what you would like.
Overdue books? No problem! This is a great time to return those books now to our black drop box outside of the library. You will not be charged any overdue fees and there are absolutely no judgements no matter how late they are (it happens to us all)!

We will update as things change.
